This Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are & scope
Controller
The Creatize mobile app and related services are operated by an individual developer (no company entity) located in Ukraine (“we”, “us”). For any privacy requests, contact creatize.app@gmail.com.
By using Creatize, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Data we collect
Information you provide
- Account details: email, display name (when you sign up via Email/Apple/Google).
- Content you submit: portfolio links, notes, brief details, and other user‑generated content you choose to add.
- Support requests and communications.
Information collected automatically
- App events, device and performance data (e.g., device model, OS version, app version), crash diagnostics, and usage analytics via Firebase services.
- Identifiers such as Firebase Installation ID / Instance ID and RevenueCat anonymous/app account identifiers. (No full payment card numbers are collected by us.)
- Approximate region or country derived from IP (for fraud prevention, analytics, and entitlement management).
From third parties
- App Store/Google Play purchase metadata and receipts via RevenueCat to manage entitlements.
- Authentication tokens and basic profile data from Apple or Google when you choose those sign‑in methods.

The following data may be collected and linked to your identity and is used for the purposes shown below, matching our App Store Connect settings.
- Purchases (Purchase History) — Used for Analytics, Product Personalization, and App Functionality.
- Contact Info (Email Address) — Used for Other Purposes (e.g., support), App Functionality, and Analytics.

Legal bases (EEA/UK): performance of contract, legitimate interests (e.g., security, app improvement), consent (where required, e.g., refund consumption data), and compliance with legal obligations.

- Payments and fraud prevention (App Store/Google Play receipts via RevenueCat) — performance of contract; legitimate interests.

4. SDKs & third‑party processors
Firebase (Google)
We use Firebase Analytics for aggregated usage metrics and Firebase Crashlytics for crash diagnostics and stability. These services process device and app interaction data to help us improve reliability and user experience.
Authentication
We offer Email/Password and third‑party sign‑in (Apple, Google). When you use Apple or Google, they provide us with authentication tokens and, where applicable, your display name and email. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their processing.
RevenueCat (entitlements & purchases)
RevenueCat processes App Store/Google Play receipt data and maintains your active entitlements (e.g., subscription status). We do not receive or store your full payment card numbers.
5. Payments & refunds (RevenueCat & Apple)
Refund adjudication with Apple
If you request a refund for an in‑app purchase, we may, with your explicit consent at that time, submit limited purchase and consumption/usage data to Apple via RevenueCat and select the option “Submit consumption data and let Apple decide.” This may include product/entitlement identifiers, purchase/renewal/trial status and timestamps, aggregated usage signals (e.g., time used, unlock events), and identifiers needed to locate the transaction (e.g., App Store transaction ID, RevenueCat anon/app account token). We use this solely to help Apple decide your request. If you do not consent, we will not share consumption data.
6. How we share data
- Service providers/Processors: Firebase, RevenueCat, and similar infrastructure providers process data on our behalf to deliver the app.
- App Stores: Apple App Store and Google Play handle billing and refunds under their own policies.
- Legal, safety, and fraud: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users, our rights, or the service.
- No sale of personal data: We do not sell personal data. We do not use third‑party advertising SDKs.
7. International transfers
We operate from Ukraine and use processors that may process data in other countries. Where applicable, transfers are supported by the providers’ safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) and appropriate technical and organizational measures. Your data may therefore be subject to different privacy laws than in your country.
8. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and context (e.g., account data for the life of your account; support emails for a reasonable period after resolution; analytics and crash diagnostics for operational periods defined by providers).
9. Your privacy rights
EEA/UK users: You may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to processing, and data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. You can lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.California (CPRA): We do not sell or share personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising. You may request access, correction, deletion, and information about our disclosures.
10. Your choices & controls
- Account: You can sign out or request account deletion by emailing creatize.app@gmail.com.
- Refund consent: When requesting a refund, you can choose whether to allow submission of consumption data to Apple.
- Device settings: OS‑level privacy settings may limit analytics or reset identifiers.
- Emails: If we send service messages, you can reply to request changes or deletion of your data where applicable.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
12. Children’s privacy
The service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK, unless parental consent is permitted and provided). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without appropriate consent.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. We will change the “Effective date” above and, where required, provide additional notice. Your continued use after changes take effect means you acknowledge the updates.
